Rochford Lawn Cemetery

Rochford Parish Council owns and maintains the Rochford Lawn Cemetery. The idea of Lawn Cemeteries was largely inspired by the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Each grave is laid in an avenue of level grass and may, if the registered owner so wishes be marked by a wooden cross or, agreed by the Parish Council, set on a base.

Also in the Cremation area, bio-degradable containers are permitted to be interred in this area. There is no provision for flower holders, but if required, a small spray of flowers may be placed on the memorial tablet. No other commemorative displays are permitted.

The Cemetery is open at all times and visitors are most welcome. Full details and all enquiries should be made to The Parish Clerk at the address on the contacts page.
