Parish Councillor Vacancy
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Ms Sarah Reeve has ceased to be a member for Rochford North Ward and that a casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillors for the said Parish.
On receipt of a request for a By-election in writing from any TEN local government electors within the said Parish Ward, provided they notify the District Returning Officer at THE COUNCIL OFFICES, SOUTH STREET, ROCHFORD, ESSEX, SS4 1BW by 7th December 2023 (within14 working days), if no such request is received, the Parish Council will itself fill the vacancy by Co-option by the Parish Council.
