Kickstart Placements at Rochford Parish Council

Rochford Parish Council are pleased to have availability for 2 Kickstart Placements within our office, based at The Kings Head, Rochford Square, West Street, Rochford.
The Kickstart Scheme offers six-month placement for young people aged 16 to 24 years old who are currently claiming Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment.
The 2 placements are Administration positions, 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday, for 6 months.
Kickstart is focussed on short-term work and general employability training.
There are not any entry requirements to start a placement on the Kickstart Scheme. You won’t require any qualifications or experience for the positions.
The aim of the Kickstart Scheme is to help you with the skills and experience you need to get a job once you’ve completed your 6 month placement.
