Have your say on the Council’s Sustainability Strategy – and win £100 gift card
Rochford District Council needs your input in helping shape our strategy for the protecting and improving the environment going forward.
We are inviting everyone who lives or runs a business in the district to help shape our Sustainability Strategy for 2022–2027.
Complete our survey and you will be able to enter into a prize draw for a Prezzee £100 gift card, redeemable at a supermarket of your choice.
The survey on the Sustainability Strategy has two categories, one aimed at all residents and the other at businesses.
Using the link below you can read our draft strategy, give us your feedback on some of the key issues around protecting our environment and add your own comments.
Cllr Mrs Danielle Belton, portfolio holder for Climate and Economy, said:
“Rochford District Council has set ambitious targets to become carbon neutral within our own activities by 2030 and is working hard to ensure the district meets the Government’s national targets on carbon neutrality.
“The environmental agenda and climate change affect us all and we all need to play our part in solving these issues. That is why it is so important that people from our community give us their opinion and feedback on our environmental strategy.”

Print copies of the survey are available at the following locations: Rochford District Council, South Street, Rochford, SS4 1BW (Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10am-1pm and on Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm- 4pm) and Rochford District Council, Civic Suite, Hockley Road, Rayleigh, SS6 8EB(10am to 1pm daily).
The survey closes 18 September 2022.
