Defibrillators Installed at Parish Premises

Automated External Defibrillators have been installed at our office located in West Street and at St Marks Hall, St Marks Field
Rochford Parish Council working for your Community.
Rochford Parish will now benefit from two Automated External Defibrillators which were registered with the East of England Ambulance Service in July 2019. This will allow callers to the 999-ambulance service to be directed to a defibrillators in the case of heart failure.
Councillors and staff attend a training session today 5th August 2019 run by the Commercial Training Officer, from the East of England Ambulance Service which was very informative.
Training is not essential to use the Defibrillators as both the machine and the call operator give detailed instructions.
If you have one installed at your premises which has not been registered please go to https://www.eastamb.nhs.uk/your-service/campaigns/defibrillator-registration-form.htm to ensure it is on the system and available to save lives.
The Council will be considering if they can support placement on other sites by working in partnership with the owners.
